Care of your Kara Gems Jewellery
Jewellery is delicate and should be treated with tender loving care. It should never come in contact with water, perfume or any other liquids.
All items should be stored separately to avoid damage and possible loosening of stones.
Pearls are extremely sensitive to perfume and if exposed to it in any way they will lose their lustre and eventually chip. So it is important to always keep this in mind when wearing them.

All items are offered subject to availability at the time of receipt of the order.
Where items are out of stock at the time of the order, we will email you for your instruction as to whether you would like us to hold the item on back order for you or not.
Where items are held on back order for you, payment will only be taken at the point of dispatch.

Payment made through www.karagems.com is made via PayPal.com, who supplies encrypted secure trading services for us. Your credit card details are not seen or held by KaraGems. You may contact PayPal.com
Credit card processing for KaraGems is carried out by AIB Bank, Ireland. If you have any queries regarding the processing of your credit card you should contact your card provider.
All credit card transactions for KaraGems jewellery should be carried out through the website.
We are not able to accept cash by way of payment.
All cheques will be cleared through our bank account prior to goods being released to the customer. This can take up to 7 working days. Please note all cheques must be accompanied by a cheque guarantee card number. The value of each cheque issued is only covered by your card up to the value of €130 (if your purchase is more than €130, you can simply issue two or more cheques).
Delivery
Postage & packaging is FREE within the Republic of Ireland.
Please ensure you provide us with a delivery address you will be at when delivery of your purchase is expected. If you are not there when delivery is attempted, we cannot be held responsible.
Unfortunately KaraGems does not deliver to outside Ireland at present via our online service. Please contact us by phone or email if you wish to arrange for delivery for outside the Republic of Ireland.

KaraGems cannot be held responsible for any delays in the postal service.
Returns
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you are free to return it to KaraGems for a full refund within 7 working days. All items must be returned unworn and in their original packaging. All our earrings are sent in secure packages, which, if opened, cannot be returned. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Items which have been damaged through misuse will not be considered for return.
Items for return should be securely packaged. KaraGems cannot accept responsibility for items damaged in transit to us. For this reason we would recommend that items are sent An Post registered post. PLEASE READ OUR “CARE OF KARAGEMS JEWELLERY” SECTION CARFULLY.
All items returned to KaraGems should be sent by “signed for” delivery such as An Post registered post. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery.
General
KaraGems does not guarantee the total absence of nickel or other components in its products and does not accept any liability for allergic reactions known or unknown to any of its products.
KaraGems takes every care to portray and describe items accurately, however as many of the items supplied by KaraGems are handmade, individual variations may occur. KaraGems can not guarantee that items supplied will be absolutely identical to items previously supplied. KaraGems endeavours to ensure that items supplied match product descriptions. Not withstanding the above, no representation or warranty is given as to the accuracy or completeness of information given. In particular customers using the website to order products should note that due to colour disparities between different computer screens there may be perceived colour variations between items shown on the website and those supplied.
